With over 30 years of cabinet level leadership at four national colleges of liberal arts and sciences, J. Carey Thompson brings tremendous expertise to the complex challenges facing private education today.

As an expert in predictive analytics, international expansion, and building high-performing teams, he is the architect of data-informed strategies that consistently deliver 48-90% application increases while protecting net tuition revenue in volatile markets.

He seeks to align mission, people, and tools to provide organizational excellence. He is a strategic leader who has led not only in admission and financial aid, but has also led Communications, Athletics and Recreation, Institutional Research, Career Services, and Data Services. He understands the importance of aligning institutional resources to deliver sophisticated and contemporary strategies tailored to the unique enrollment challenges facing private higher education.
